Popular rapper Nicki Minaj, known for some of her hit songs such as Anaconda, SuperBass, Bang Bang, has left her fans shocked by her recent Tweet. She announced her retirement very abruptly in a tweet and also mentioned that she wanted to have a family. Nicki Minaj has a whopping 20.6 million fans on Twitter as of now and her sudden retirement tweet has her fans all over the world going berserk. We didn’t see this coming and has left fans confused as to why Nicki decided to retire.

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.” Her fans found it hard to sink in and commented that they were heartbroken. They let her know this was so abrupt and that they needed an explanation for this. Some even thought it was a joke. A fan wrote, “@NICKIMINAJ can u please just address this retirement thing. You e never left us so hurt your entire career. We’re just hurting Nicki :( it’s US it’s the barbz plz...” Nicki Minaj assured her fans that she would talk about it all with her fans and wrote, “I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. The rapper had recently opened up about her past toxic relationships on Twitter. She is currently in a relationship with Kenneth Petty and is happy. She had also earlier said on her radio show that she will be married to Petty “in 80 days.”
